Mighty Networks Zapier integration: triggers, actions, plan and setup

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerMighty Networks has an official Zapier app with 7 listed triggers and 11 actions. It needs the Scale Plan or higher on the Mighty side, plus a Zapier account.

Zapier works with Mighty Networks from the Scale Plan up

Mighty Networks has an official app on Zapier, and the Mighty help center says the integration is available on the Scale Plan and above. The plan comparison table on the pricing page agrees: the Zapier row is empty for Launch and filled for Scale, Growth and Mighty Pro.

As read on 3 October 2026, the pricing page shows Scale at $179 per month with annual billing, and the help center lists $215 per month when paid monthly. Launch, at $79 per month on annual billing, does not include Zapier. The full plan breakdown is on the Mighty Networks pricing page.

You also need a Zapier account. Mighty's help center says Zapier's free plan covers a Zap with one trigger and one action, and that multi-step Zaps need a paid Zapier plan. Only Network Hosts can set the integration up.

Triggers and actions listed on Zapier's Mighty Networks page

Zapier's own app page for Mighty Networks lists the events below. All seven triggers are marked instant, which means Zapier is notified as the event happens instead of checking on a schedule.

Setup: from API key to a published Zap

The Mighty help center gives this order:

  1. Sign in to Zapier, or create an account.
  2. In your Mighty Network, open Admin > Integrations > Zapier and copy the API key shown there.
  3. In Zapier, search for the Mighty Networks app and paste the key when asked.
  4. Create a Zap. Pick the trigger app and event, choose your Network as the account, then set the trigger options, for example Member Activity with Joined for one Space.
  5. Add the action app and event, map the fields such as first name and email, and run the test.
  6. Publish the Zap. An unpublished Zap does not run.

A typical first Zap for a community that has just moved: Member Activity (Joined) in Mighty Networks, then add or update a subscriber in the email tool you already use. Mighty's own walkthrough uses Mailchimp for this.

Limits documented by Mighty Networks

  • Content is sent as an excerpt. When post content goes to another app, only a short excerpt travels. Full text and images are not included.
  • Course progress is delayed. The progress trigger fires up to one hour after the member's activity, and it has no built-in Space filter.
  • The key follows the Host. The API key belongs to one Host account. To use a Space in a trigger or action, that Host must be a Host of the Space.
  • Remove Member is for people not on plans. Members on a plan should be handled with Plan Action instead.
  • Plan invites are single-use. The invite link created by Plan Action works once.
  • Direct adds are split by membership type. One action adds limited members to the Network, the other adds full members to Spaces.

What to check afterwards, and when another route is better

After the first live run, confirm three things: the Zap is published, a real new member (not Zapier's sample record) arrived in the other app with the right email, and the Host who owns the API key still hosts every Space the Zap uses. If that Host leaves, plan to reconnect with another Host's key.

Zapier suits Hosts who want to connect an email tool, a CRM or an outside checkout without code. If you use Kit, the built-in Kit integration syncs members without Zapier. If you need data Zapier does not expose, the Mighty Networks API is on the same Scale Plan. For a CRM example, see the HubSpot route. Prices were read on 3 October 2026 and can change.
