Mighty Networks HubSpot integration: no native app, two working routes

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-03

Quick answerThere is no native HubSpot integration. Connect the two with Zapier, or build a sync on the Mighty API using Mighty's own HubSpot guide. Both routes need the Scale Plan or higher.

No native HubSpot connection: use Zapier or the Mighty API

Mighty Networks does not list a native HubSpot integration. Its integrations page names Zoom, Kit, Zapier, Delphi and tracking pixels, and HubSpot is not among them. The two documented ways to connect the products are Zapier, which has a HubSpot and Mighty Networks pairing page with ready templates, and a custom integration on the Mighty API, for which Mighty publishes a step-by-step HubSpot guide.

Both routes need the Mighty Networks Scale Plan or above. As read on 3 October 2026, Scale is $179 per month with annual billing, or $215 per month paid monthly according to the help center.

Setting up the Zapier route

Zapier's pairing page lists templates such as creating or updating HubSpot contacts for new Mighty members, adding new members to a HubSpot list or workflow, updating a contact when course progress changes, and inviting new HubSpot contacts into Mighty Networks.

  1. In Mighty Networks, open Admin > Integrations > Zapier and copy the API key.
  2. In Zapier, connect the Mighty Networks app with that key, then connect your HubSpot account.
  3. Choose the Mighty trigger Member Activity and select Joined, for the whole Network or one Space.
  4. Choose the HubSpot action that creates or updates a contact, and map email, first name and last name.
  5. Test, then publish the Zap.

The full trigger and action list is on the Mighty Networks Zapier integration page. Mighty's help center says multi-step Zaps need a paid Zapier plan.

What Mighty's official HubSpot API guide builds

The developer guide describes a small backend service. Mighty sends member events to it through a webhook, and the service writes them to HubSpot. In the other direction, a HubSpot workflow calls the service, which then tags or invites the person through the Mighty API.

  • A Host creates an OAuth application under Network Admin > Integrations > OAuth Applications and approves it once.
  • Access tokens expire after one hour, so the service must refresh them.
  • The guide suggests custom HubSpot contact properties for the Mighty member ID, join date, plan and tags.
  • The HubSpot to Mighty direction depends on HubSpot workflows that can send a webhook, which the guide says depends on your HubSpot subscription.

More detail on tokens, webhooks and request quotas is on the Mighty Networks API page.

Limits and checks: member emails, quotas and duplicates

  • Email visibility. HubSpot matches contacts by email. Mighty's guide says webhook payloads carry an empty email when a member has not consented to commercial email, and a masked one unless the plan includes member-email visibility. Skip those members instead of creating broken contacts.
  • Quotas. API usage counts against the Network's request quota. Scale includes 5,000 Admin API requests per month according to the pricing page.
  • Retries. Webhook deliveries time out after 10 seconds and can arrive twice, so the service should ignore repeated event IDs.
  • Zapier excerpts. Through Zapier, post content travels only as a short excerpt.

After setup, add a test member and confirm one contact, not two, appears in HubSpot with the right email. Then check a member who opted out of commercial email to see how the route treats them.

Zapier suits a small team that only needs new members to appear as contacts. The API route suits organizations that need existing members loaded and two-way updates. On the Launch Plan neither is available. The manual fallback there is to download the member list as an Excel file and import it into HubSpot. Compare plans on Mighty Networks pricing.
