Yes, Mighty Networks has an API on the Scale Plan and above
Mighty Networks does have an API. Its help center says the Mighty API (GraphQL) and the separate Admin REST API are both available on the Scale Plan and above. Webhooks and an MCP connection for AI assistants sit on the same plans. The Launch Plan has no API access: the pricing table shows no included Admin API requests for Launch.
As read on 3 October 2026, Scale costs $179 per month with annual billing, or $215 per month paid monthly according to the help center. Other plans are on the Mighty Networks pricing page.
Mighty API and Admin REST API compared
| Criterion | Mighty API | Admin REST API |
|---|---|---|
| Style | GraphQL, one endpoint per Network | REST, base address api.mn.co/admin |
| Authentication | OAuth 2.0 with short-lived tokens that act for a specific user | A long-lived Bearer token created under Admin settings, API Keys |
| Acts as | A member, moderator or Host, with that person's permissions and approved scopes | A Network admin, server to server |
| Typical use | Custom member apps, embeds, host dashboards, CRM sync | Administrative automation: members, posts, events, Spaces |
| Setup location | Network Admin, Integrations, OAuth Applications | Admin, Settings, API Keys |
| Quota | Same quota model, tracked separately and counted per GraphQL operation | Monthly request quota by plan |
The REST documentation notes one practical requirement: requests to api.mn.co must send a non-empty User-Agent header, or bot protection answers with a 403 page.
What the API exposes
The developer docs describe the GraphQL schema as covering the host and member product end to end. The main areas are:
- Members: the roster with filters, profile updates, roles, removal and bans, custom fields and tags.
- Spaces and content: Spaces and collections, posts, comments, reactions, polls and media uploads.
- Events and courses: Events with recurrence and RSVPs, courses, lessons, progress and quizzes.
- Commerce: payment plans, member subscriptions, one-time purchases, promo codes and income reports.
- Growth: invites, join requests, waitlists and the Ambassador program.
- Moderation and automation: reports, blocklist, automation rules, outbound webhooks and OAuth application management.
A token only reaches what its user can already see. Private chats need separate consent scopes. Member emails are returned in plain form only to a Host token with the right scope, on a plan that includes member-email visibility.
Webhooks: events, delivery and failure handling
Webhooks send an HTTP POST with a JSON body to your address when something happens in the Network. The documented events include members joining or leaving a Space, plan purchases, renewals and cancellations, tags and badges added or removed, course and lesson completion, RSVPs, new posts, articles, comments and polls, and reported content.
- Your endpoint must use HTTPS and should answer with a 2xx status.
- Deliveries time out after 10 seconds, and any other status is retried, so the same event can arrive twice.
- You set an API key that Mighty sends as a Bearer token, so your server can verify the source.
- Repeated failures trip a circuit breaker that pauses delivery, then resumes on its own once the endpoint responds.
Request quotas by plan
| Plan | Included Admin API requests | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | None | No API, Zapier or MCP access |
| Scale | 5,000 per month | Developer docs list extra requests at $0.002 each |
| Growth | 50,000 per month | Developer docs describe Growth limits as custom |
| Mighty Pro | 300,000 per month | Custom pricing |
The pricing table also has a row for headless API requests, marked as coming soon on Growth and Mighty Pro. MCP activity counts toward API usage, according to the help center.
Where the docs are, and what to use without the API
The developer documentation lives at docs.mightynetworks.com. It includes a quick start for the Admin API, an authentication guide, a GraphQL schema explorer that runs queries against sample data without a Network, a changelog, and build guides for HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Shopify, WordPress and Eventbrite.
The API suits organizations with a developer who need custom apps or two-way sync with a CRM. Hosts who only want to pass new members to another tool can use the Zapier integration on the same plan without code, and the HubSpot page compares both routes. On Launch, the tools left are CSV invite uploads and the member list download. How the MCP connection relates to the platform's other AI tools is covered under Mighty Networks and AI. Prices and quotas were read on 3 October 2026 and can change.
