Yes: Mighty Networks uses AI for hosts and for members
Yes. Mighty Networks documents a set of AI features in its help center and lists several in its plan comparison. They fall into two groups. Cohost is a chat assistant for hosts that gives advice and can change settings. The rest are small tools inside the community that help hosts and members write, find each other and start conversations.
The help center says these features send the selected information to Anthropic or OpenAI through their APIs, and that community content is not used to train those companies' models. Hosts control all of it from one screen: Admin, General, AI Features, where each feature has its own switch and one option turns everything off.

What Cohost can do, and its daily message limits
Cohost sits in the top right corner on the web and in the bottom navigation on mobile. The help center says it is trained on the company's community strategy framework and its help articles, and that it knows your community's stated purpose and billing plan. All network hosts can open it, though each sees only their own messages.
It goes beyond advice. The documented actions include creating Spaces from templates, renaming and reordering them, setting up plans and pricing, creating events, posts and polls, scheduling posts, assigning badges and tags, sending a direct message and applying a logo or image you share in the chat. Riskier actions show an approval card first. Those include sending an announcement, removing a member, canceling a subscription, archiving a plan and deleting course content.
| Plan | Cohost messages |
|---|---|
| Explore | 25 a day |
| Launch | 100 a day |
| Scale and higher | Unlimited |
Infinite Question Engine and AI search: the Scale-only features
The Infinite Question Engine builds a running list of polls and questions from a Space's description or the community's stated purpose. You switch it on per Space under the gear icon, Space Features, Feed. The list can hold multiple choice, hot or cold and percentage polls as well as open questions.
- Auto-post is optional. It publishes in list order, either daily at 7am Pacific or weekly on Mondays at 7am Pacific.
- Posts carry a host's name. The host who turns on auto-post is shown as the author, so members see a person, not a label saying the post was generated.
- You can edit first. Each question can be edited, scheduled, posted at once or the whole list regenerated.
That authorship rule deserves thought in a group built on trust. If members would mind machine-written prompts under a volunteer's name, keep auto-post off and edit each question by hand.
Connecting outside AI assistants, and the limits to know
Separately from its own features, Mighty Networks offers an MCP connection that lets hosts, and members if the host allows it, link an outside assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to the community. The plan comparison lists it from Scale up. The host chooses who may read and who may take actions: no one, hosts only, hosts and moderators, or all members. The connection follows existing permissions, and its activity counts toward the plan's API request allowance, which is 5,000 a month on Scale. More on that in our API guide.
- The help center describes the AI features as still improving and asks hosts to report odd results.
- An outside assistant can draft a post or poll but cannot publish it directly.
- MCP permissions are all or nothing per role. Individual capabilities cannot be switched off one by one.
Mighty Networks suits a host who wants setup help and a steady supply of prompts. A group that wants no AI at all can still use it, by turning every feature off in Admin and leaving MCP set to no one. The feature guide covers the non-AI tools, and our legitimacy check covers privacy and security statements.
